She lacks the common knowledge thats to be instilled into girls her age. Clumsy to her core, she relies on her father for more than she'd care to admit. Though she is a sweetheart, she is uniquely untamed with her father, getting into constant fights in her rebellious time of life.

Although he is treated as an outcast, a pathetic excuse for a "man" by his peers, he is still somewhat respected & needed for his stable business.
He desires control with his daughter obsessively, methods becoming too unorthodox to obtain such a wish. All for a greater future, his own perfectly created safe haven where he doesn't have to suffer anymore.

Lyon Solstice is the famed prince of the Kingdom. Yet his name is more in infamy than in typical professional royalty. He's a cockroach in the royal family and anyone he chooses to be close with, whether they like it or not. Instead of typical prince duties, he is assigned as a guarding knight surrounding the forest.
He typically goes against royal rules, sleazing around with men and women he fancies. In the end his true love is chasing any high and causing trouble.
The nation is typically cold year-round, chilled enough that it's common to have a sheet of snow on the ground constantly. Many life forms & plants have adapted to this weather as well.
However, for around 2 months of every year, there is a summer solstice. Where the weather shifts, and for that period, the sun shines so bright that all the snow begins to melt. This has turned into a yearly tradition, both religious in nature and creating community events that are commonly participated in. Also, at the end of the 2 months, there's an eclipse that occurs, lasting for 1 week. This is the most dangerous time of the year and is highly feared. Most do not go outside, as it's when many cryptic and paranormal events occur. There is a tale that during the summer solstice, the ice in the forests and mountains melts, and that is where the creatures are unearthed. Then for the week of the eclipse, they emerge from the forest under the darkened lights and lurk anywhere and everywhere. That is, until the full summer solstice is over and they turn back into ice. This tale over the many years scared the people enough that it is also tradition to let the fireplace blaze for the entire week, so that if they did get into homes, the roaring flames would melt them before they took root.Although there is a rich history of development, a cloud of mystery resides about how humans arrived there, whether there is life outside the mountains, and just what is beyond it all. Although it's not confirmed, the people believe the name "Glacierbind" comes from how the nation was originally a large piece of ice during the ice age. There was a gift from the sun that partly melted away this ice, and thus it slid down into the ocean. They theorize this is what the ocean is made up of.

Ryder's Room - A very dusty, eerie room. Barely touched. Years later, Mathilde's presence still lingers. The room is now only used to change clothes or sulk after harsh fights. Ryder would rather rest in his chair in his chambers or in Nokota's bed. Fairly plain and lacking the personality it had, with only his essentials out ready at all times.
Nokota's Room - Nokota has always resided in her room, as evidenced by all the knick-knacks and keepsakes over the years. It's brightly lit by her window, curtains always pulled away, revealing her white-toned room and scratched brown furniture filled with love. After a few days, a mess accumulates fairly quickly until she is told to clean again.
Usually, a girl her age has a single small bed, however, Nokota has had one fit for two for many years.
Where Nokota, Ryder, and Mathilde's evidence lives.

Home - Ryder's house is a cabin style home. It is two stories tall with a small attic. The downstairs contains the living room, the large fireplace, a closet, a kitchen, and Ryder's study. The upstairs has Nokota's and Ryder's room, as well as a bathroom and the string that will pull down the steps leading to the attic. Outside there's a small path leading to the streets and other homes, and in its backyard in the distance leads to the forest. To Frostnock standards, it's quite a luxury home. However, it's still in a bit of a struggling condition.
A massive town in size, but also in human life. It is surrounded by the dense forest, with a small beach in the south. To the north leads Hollybrook, and even those working in Hollybrook usually have homes in Frostnock.Ryder's home is one of the few homes away from the row of places. It is in a section considered one of the more upper-class areas.
Each street paints a different light, some poor with its people filled with despair, other streets hustling and bustling with life and the many shops. Small sections contain many homes in a tight nit area, densely populated in a small area. There contains a few parts that's a "no-go zone" unless you want trouble, the black market areas, AKA the Underground. It is small and buried beneath part of the town.
A smaller section up on top of a hill, closest to the sun. In between the Kingdom and Frostnock. It was considered the best, and the only place for any proper farming. It's also fit for transporting goods, easily able to send food & supplies to both Frostnock and The Kingdom.Usually, the only reason non-farmers go to Hollybrook is to cross to the other side.In between Hollybrook and The Kingdom is a small pathway crossing directly through the woods. A tad dangerous to cross even by horse and carriage.
Those who do farm work typically have a small home alongside their farm and a much bigger home in Frostnock. Some who are prosperous either get to live in the Kingdom, or even travel there for extra work in hopes of getting work there permanently.Even the pompous people of the Kingdom have respect for those who work in Hollybrook. They are essential in keeping it's nation prosperous.
The smallest part of the nation. Mostly farmland.

The core of its nation. The wealthiest, most elegant part. Contains the rulers of the land.
Many dream of being able to live in the kingdom, or even see the rulers they are under. Romantic in nature, it's a grand look for anyone who's staying or even visiting.Tall stone buildings are encased all around, with a tall, powerful castle sitting predominately in the back. It resides higher above than the rest, as if looking down upon its people constantly. This is the least populated area, but the most glamorized and desired.
Fashion shops and restaurants are scoured within, and only luxury items and dishes are served to the few who can afford them. Most balls & galas take place here, with the events intended to connect others and show off their outfits, dancing techniques, and accomplishments. It is also a gathering for daughters & sons to find partners for life.
A heavy fog lingers around the mountaintops and trails in its forest. It's white and layered with a bright white snow, yet remains awfully bleak. The forest is a forbidden zone, typically only hunters and farmers venturing into it in designated sections. It's riddled with aggressive predators, harsh weather conditions, and a mysterious aura that's only asking for trouble.Hunters and farmers typically only patrol within a mile of its depths; anything beyond that is a greater risk and only left for Adventurers.
No one knows what is beyond the mountains, or deep in the forest, only rumors and tales theorizing what it may be. Even those who go far enough that come back home are diagnosed as insane and delirious. Doctors believe the shock of what was witnessed destroys the mind like a plague. Even this is a rarity, and most men are labelled "Deadman" never to return. There is a small religious, almost cult-like group in Frostnock and the kingdom that worships the forbidden zones beyond. Most tend to ignore this aspect, living out their daily lives in blissful ignorance.
What resides beyond the nation, a thick, dense forest and mountains that tower over all.

Ryder's Stable - Ryder owns & manages a large plot of land for his stable business. There is a section with carriages, a pasture, his horse stables, a shed, and a small room. It's the most go-to spot in West of Frostnock for any horse use needs, whether for learning how to ride or using one of his carriages for travel. Typically, Ryder lurks in the small room designated for paperwork and formalities, or in the stable itself with his precious horses. Sadly, he cannot run it all himself, so he has a small list of employees doing most of the dirty work (quite literally.)Nokota's School - A short walk from their home, just past Ryder's stable, is where Nokota attends school Monday through Friday. It's a bit run-down, but it attempts to be proper in some form. There is a strict dress code, needing to wear uniforms that Nokota hates. In her school, the boys and girls are separated greatly, not only by which classes they take, but also by ensuring that if they do have the same class, they are separated in seats by rows. This is normal for every school in the nation, as the time considered interacting with boys is for things like grand balls or arranged by their families. Nokota has classes in things such as: Sewing, Cooking, English, History, and Caregiving.Kingdom's Castle - Almost cathedral-like. Contains the King, Queen, Lyon and other royalty. Also amongst them are their servants and a small jail kept right under the castle. Only approved people are allowed inside the grand doors.

The canon "alternate universe", just as it always wasn't supposed to be. So similar, yet something feels uniquely...peculiar?
As Nokota becomes an adult, she decides to ██ ███ ███ ███ ████ ███ ███ ████ ███ ███████ ██ ████ █████ ███ ████ █████ ████ ████████ ████ ██ █████ ███ ████ █████ ███ ████ █████ █████ ████ ████ ████████ ██ ███ ███ █████ But the tale could not end there. So thereafter, ███ ████ ████ █████ █████ █████ ██████ ███ ████████ ███ █ ████ ███████ ██ ███ ███ ████ █████ █████ ████ ██████ ███ ████ ███ █████ ███ ██ ████████ ██ ███ ████ █ ██████ ████ ██████ ████████
*The words intended to be written are scribbled out by Nokota. It seems she doesn't want you to know!
This is the years of Nokota's adult life, and her relationship with her father. She is now tasked to be Ryder's partial caretaker and is his assistant at his stable. Behind closed gates, she is Father's broodmare and lover, though at times more of an eerie doll under his strings. For now there is secrets within her, and an unsettling aura where suddenly she became abnormally clingy to the person she despises the most. What kind of ███████ ████ █████ is that?Tags: Psychological horror, 4th wall breaking
In this AU, Nokota's autism gets diagnosed early on and is more of the focus and used against her by Ryder. She is still restrained for her behaviors, but more so in a forced infantilization that brainwashes her.Nokota goes to school in special education classes. Ryder still maintains the same occupation. Lyon is a CFO for a large company, and Mathilde was a hiker & climber.
She's around the same age as the general canon, but her mind is a bit more regressed than her actual age, from the abuse and age regression. Ryder still uses the techniques of taming a horse, but he also uses abusive methods to calm down an autistic person. Just like in canon as well, he genuinely believes that this is the best way to help his daughter, and he tries to support her to the point of being overbearing and ableist.Tags: Forced age regression, infantilization
A 2000s style AU, explored in a more modern times setting.

In the universe of "Fields of Mistria". These are the events that happen in Nokota's (nice) dreams, as the game has a similar universe to canon.
In this AU Ryder, Lyon, and Mathilde are Nokota's horses. Ryder is her primary ridden horse. She has a nice time living on her farm that she totally takes care of. Most of the time shes going on adventures in the mines and deep woods if she is not chatting with someone or causing havoc on her farm.
Her primary lover is Hayden, but she also obsesses over Eiland and Adeline, as they are a prince and princess. She likes to explore her "dreams" romancing all the pretty men and women she can. Nothing bad ever happens here because it's Nokota's sweetest dreams. (Except the occasional horse penis on her horses (mostly Ryder) that interrupts and becomes sexual after in her real world she saw her first one at her father's stable.)Tags: Sweet fantasies, size difference
Ryder is a creature of man living deep in the woods. Somewhat human in form, he is a murky, grief-filled creature with black magic intertwined with his soul. Cursed, he stays far, far away from human life. He remains secluded in a small castle surrounded by the woods. His entire essence has changed since the death of his wife and daughter, but his past, the present, and the magic he wields remain quite the mystery.
Nokota is a young girl living with her Grandma and three sisters in a little village outside of the woods. She's the youngest of the bunch and a bit of an outcast, always struggling to keep up and in a world of her own. She's been constantly warned to never venture out into the forbidden woods. But as she hears tales of a "Golden Apple" granting her immortality, she takes it upon herself to go and find it, hoping to prove her family right. Easily, she gets lost, and there she finds a strange man lingering in the tree's shadows.Tags: Dark fantasy, demons and dragons, kidnapping
A fantasy AU with two versions. More of a traditional fairytale where Ryder and Nokota are not related.

Ryder lost Mathilde and hasn't had a mate in some time, now a lone wolf in his den. He finds a little bunny named Nokota rolling around carefree in the sunny patches of wolf territory. Out of fear, he snatches her and eventually takes her in as he knows that letting her out again means she will get eaten immediately.
Nokota is very much a thumping bratty bunny, never realizing the constant danger she's in.*Not drawn as much because I never drew furry before thisTags: Furry, feral, size difference
██████, or known as "Aurora" by her stalker Ryder. ██████ is blissfully unaware she's being stalked and watched at all times. This AU would show an even more twisted side of Ryder, driven by insanity and the yearning to reclaim his childhood once more.
Ryder begins developing an obsession with a little girl who visited his stable once. He names her "Aurora" after the name of his childhood horse who died in a fire. He believes she is the reincarnation of her and thinks the life she is living is unfit for her.Tags: Stalking, kidnapping, obsession
An AU where Ryder and Nokota are strangers, in a more modern setting.
